Fisherman’s Friends

Based in a little fishing village around the Celtic Sea in North Cornwall, traditional English folk group Fisherman’s Friends first started performing portside at night (through the summertime) for tourists and locals in 1995. Constructed on a basis of maritime background and its wealthy oral customs, and focusing on Forebitters, shanteys, and traditional Cornish folk tunes, the ten-man group statements no bandleader; rather, the spirited military of fisherman, lifeboatmen, coastguards, contractors, artisans, hoteliers, and shopkeepers trade off prospects, while the staying vocalists harmonize.
