Fireworks

Playing skronked-up rockabilly and rock and roll & move (believe Jon Spencer just as much as Rev. Horton Warmth), Fireworks was created by Dallas musician Darin Lin Solid wood after his ejection from another region band; before shifting to Tx from NY in 1989, Solid wood had also performed in an exceedingly early lineup of Cop Take Cop, aswell as 68 Return and Blacksnakes. The 1st lineup of Fireworks required form circa 1993, focused around Solid wood and Chris Merlick, both of whom sang and performed electric guitar and drums. Merlick still left and rejoined the music group several times within the group’s background; a more long lasting incarnation highlighted Wood’s partner, drummer Janet Walker, and guitarist Adam Arthur. Fireworks’ debut full-length, Established the World burning, was released in 1994 by Crypt; From the Atmosphere implemented in 1996 in the Au-Go-Go imprint. Timber and Walker got meanwhile formed the medial side task Blacktop with ex-Gories vocalist Mick Collins, which led to the LP I ACQUIRED a negative Feelin’. After putting your signature on to Last Defeat, Fireworks released Lit Up in 1997.
