Fiocco

In the past due ’90s, Belgium became a significant digital dance music-producing country with several numbers inspired by electronica, the futuristic vision of techno music. Fiocco (“snowflake” in Italian) debuted in 1997 after makers Jan Vervloet and Enzo Fumarola had been joined by vocalist Ann Loomans and dancer Anja Maesen. Their 1st hit single, known as Affitto, was remixed by German Michael Nehrig, better referred to as Kosmonova, and released as Celebrate. This brought forth Fiocco’s 1st album titled Free of charge, featuring the golf club/dance strike “Miss You,” with vocals by Medusa.
