Finis Henderson

Chicago vocalist Finis Henderson was the lead singer for Weaponry of Peace prior to going solo after shifting to LA in the first ’80s. His dad was a dancer and in addition vice-president of Sammy Davis Businesses, aswell as supervisor for such performers as Jerry Butler and Brook Benton. Henderson sang using the Active 4 as a teenager before joining Weaponry of Tranquility in 1970. They continued to be intact for eight years, and Henderson relocated. He proved helpful for some time being a comedian, as well as offered as the starting action for Richard Pryor in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. Henderson roomed for some time with Al McKay of Globe, Wind And Fireplace. They produced the group Prophecy with Costs Wolfer. Motown provided him a single offer, but he produced little influence or impression along with his one program in 1983. Henderson also composed “Contact Me,” that was included on Wolfer’s ’82 LP Wolf.
