West Coastline rockers Great Wines reunited guitarist Jerry Miller and bassist Bob Mosley, who previously teamed seeing that founding members from the legendary SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA music group Moby Grape. Following the Grape dissolved for the next amount of time in 1971, Miller and Mosley continuing touring as Great Wine, recruiting vocalist/guitarist Michael Been (an alumnus of late-period H.P. Lovecraft aswell simply because the frontman of his very own project the initial Haze) and program drummer John Craviotto. After many years of touring, Great Wine agreed upon to Polydor, using their self-titled 1976 debut showing up just in Germany; the group divide immediately after, with Miller and Mosley rejoining the Moby Grape collapse while Been afterwards enjoyed achievement fronting the decision.
