Finch

Composed of Owen Orford (vocals), Bob Spencer (guitar), Tony Stress (bass) and Peter McFarlane (drums), Finch created in Australia in 1973 and dedicated themselves to a typical but well-observed design of feisty hard rock and roll. Orford experienced previously been an associate of Stillwater, while additional users of Finch also included Tag Evans (bass, ex-AC/DC), Chris Jones (acoustic guitar), Graham Kennedy (acoustic guitar) and Sam Mallet (acoustic guitar). They produced their debut in 1975 using the solitary ‘And She Sings’ for Picture Information, which was adopted a year later on with a studio room collection for Eagle Information which happy Australian rock and roll critics. Nevertheless, the group split up when McFarlane and Orford became a member of Tag Evans in Contraband. Spencer shifted to Silverhooks.
