Merging the hooky energy of pop-punk using the sunny harmonies and Auto-Tuned vocals of boy group pop, Combat Fair certainly are a quintet from NORTH PARK, CA focused on playing good-time music with an advantage. The associates of Combat Good — Alex Bigman (lead vocals), Evan Henkel (electric guitar), Kyle Wanninger (electric guitar), Chris Begley (bass), and Josh Reef (drums) — fulfilled while these were attending NORTH PARK State School; all had performed in rings in senior high school, and after speaking music over beers at a celebration, they made a decision to form an organization that would gather their several musical influences, which range from the Seaside Boys towards the Misfits. After building themselves in the San Diego picture, Combat Fair documented an eight-song EP, Negotiate the Score, that they originally released themselves in 2008. Music like “Human brain Freeze” and “Pop Stones” racked up an extraordinary number of has on Combat Fair’s MySpace web page, and they agreed upon a cope with the punk-oriented indie label Triple Crown Information, who reissued the EP. After comprehensive touring, Combat Fair went in to the studio room with manufacturers Mike Green and Brian Grider to focus on their initial full-length record. 2010’s California Kicks resulted in the pop aspect from the group’s formulation, and premiered with time to coincide with Combat Fair hitting the street within that year’s Vans Warped Tour.
