Fifth Union

Chicago psych-rock music group the Fifth Union comprised singer/bassist Ray Brodendorf, singer/drummer Ted Kieta and guitarists Steve Michaels and Bob Ocasio. The group released its lone one “Love May be the Crucial to Peacefulness” in 1967; that same summertime, a chance ending up in Neil Young led to an invitation to tour the Midwest to get Buffalo Springfield, but regardless of the publicity the Fifth Union under no circumstances achieved important mass and dissolved immediately after. Kieta afterwards turned to bass, relocated to Florida and along with his sibling Mike shaped the progressive rock and roll unit Imagine. A minimum of John Lennon created their 1974 debut one, released on Apple; Lennon’s very own Light Equine label released Imagine’s initial full-length effort, Pictures, Crystal clear Skies and Rainbows.
