Specializing in sensible, ornate, summery, and bookish (they had taken their name from a Vladimir Nabokov brief story called Springtime in Fialta) indie pop, San Luis Obispo, California-based pop confectioners Fialta shaped in 2011 throughout the talents of maried people Michael Leibovich and Beth Clements and David Provenzano and Sarah Shotwell. Counting on offbeat instrumentation and alternating vocals which have attracted comparisons to serves like She & Him, Mates of Condition, as well as the Weepies, the tight-knit group released their debut long-player, Summer months Wintertime, in 2013. Referred to as “a, wry, synth-laced, pop deep breathing on lifestyle in the 21st Hundred years,” the music group released their Kickstarter-funded sophomore outing, Darkness of the Drought, in 2016.
