Fernando Grillo

Fernando Grillo was called — in least, according to liner records by Ana Maria Avram — “the Buddha from the contrabass” by Karlheinz Stockhausen. Avant-garde statistics Luciano Berio, Luigi Non, Klaus Huber, Iancu Dumitrescu, Henri Pousseur, and Iannis Xenaxis all constructed parts for him. Many of his single performances can be found on the Compact disc Fluvine, originally released in 1976.
