Fernand Pérez de Medina

Medina was a vocalist in the chapel of queen Isabella in 1477. He was quite well-liked by the queen as she exempted him from taxations when he resided in Seville. Two compositions, secular vocal parts, survive within a afterwards collection. One was a four tone of voice moralizing song as the various other was a three tone of voice canzion. A sacred function which survives was an antiphonal placing to get a “Salve regina.” Medina alternated polyphonic preparations with plainsong melodies.
