Fenix TX

Previously referred to as Riverfenix, the Houston-based group Fenix TX includes singer/guitarists Will Salazar and Chris Lewis, bassist Adam Lewis, and drummer Damon Delapaz (ex-30 Foot Fall). Riverfenix shaped in 1995, but because of a moving lineup didn’t play or write very much until the pursuing year. 1997 noticed the group play for the Mullets Across America Tour that also included various other pop-punk groupings like House Grown, Cousin Oliver, as well as the Hippos. This resulted in a reference to Drive-Thru Records, which summertime the group documented their self-titled debut record for the label. It had been eventually found and re-released by MCA, as well as the music group hooked onto travels with pop-punk notables like SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN Jake and blink-182. By 1999 Riverfenix got transformed their name to Fenix TX. They do the Warped Tour, and in 2001 released their second full-length, Lechuza. Fenix fizzled in 2002, and then rise once again in 2005 having a reunion/live album known as Crimson Reign in Bloodstream. Salazar and Chris Lewis arrived together post-Fenix, developing the music group Denver Harbor.
