Felicia Michaels

During the period of the ’90s, comedian Felicia Michaels shifted her standup persona from a dumb-blonde stereotype to a foul-mouthed but soft-spoken provocateur with an unrepentantly blue love of life. Michaels relocated to Hollywood from Colorado Springs in 1983 at age group 19 and started honing her art. Through the early ’90s, Michaels made an appearance on a number of standup humor programs, even earning the Celebrity Search Grand Reward in 1992; she also got slots (mainly like a visitor celebrity) on sitcoms like Total Home and was a normal on Course Clowns. Through the past due ’90s, Michaels’ standup profession really started to remove — she released her first recording, attended film college, and was nominated for Greatest Female Comic in the American Humor Honours in 1998, and also won the honor the following 12 months. In 2000, Michaels released her second standup documenting, Lewd Awakenings.
