Fazerdaze

Elevated in Wellington, Brand-new Zealand, indie songwriter Amelia Murray started launching her lackadaisical, echo-bathed pop songs beneath the name Fazerdaze in 2014. Frustrated with several false begins at setting up rings while participating in the School of Auckland, Murray followed the Fazerdaze moniker and started self-recording and self-releasing her music, and finally performing local displays. After several totally solo displays performed with support tracks, Murray fulfilled a slew of regional musicians and started filling in her pieces with auxiliary players, ultimately landing on the long lasting lineup of herself playing electric guitar and singing, Tag Perkins on electric guitar and synthesizer, Benjamin Locke on bass, and Elliot Francis on drums. Touring internationally and playing the celebration circuit, the band’s profile grew considerably over another many years. In 2017, Fazerdaze’s debut LP, Morningside, premiered on the renowned Kiwi pop label Traveling Nun, a label Murray acquired once interned for. Although live band supported her up at displays, a lot of the musical instruments on the record were performed by Murray herself.
