Biography
This Sheffield, England-based synth-rock trio comprised Ben Rymer (b. Hunters Club, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Britain), Tag Hudson (b. Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Britain; vocals) and Ross Orton (b. Southey Green, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Britain), and was evidently conceived after preliminary attempts at producing dance music finished in devastation. Rather, the trio developed rock and roll paeans to superbikes, anorexic robots as well as the joys of house computer systems. The debut 7-inches, ‘Teenage Girl’, in the mean time, simply repeated the monitor title more than dirty electronic riffs. Based on their early singles, the trio was notably asked to remix Pulp’s ‘Sunrise’ by Jarvis Cocker and was eventually followed as tour support. The music group apparently made an appearance on stage wielding light sabres and generally not really taken things significantly, a characteristic the trio stated they created in response towards the grimness of lifestyle in their city. SYSTEM.DRAWING.BITMAP Truckers also appeared on Town Rockers’ Futurism collection, Sonic Mook’s Potential Rock & Move Amounts 1 + 2 compilations, and International Deejay Gigolo’s Gigolo Vol. 6. After launching The First Fats Truckers Album Can be ON THE MARKET via their Roadtrain Recordings label in 2003, the music group began focusing on a follow-up for International Deejay Gigolo, but disbanded before anything as well concrete have been attained. Orton in addition has documented as Supafix (with Winston Hazel), launching music via Globe Information, the label work by DJ Bird through the All Viewing I.
