Fannie & the Varcels

Philadelphia’s Fannie & the Varcels’ discography includes a single record on Howard Ravisky’s Lash label entitled “Inside Me personally” b/w “The Man,” released Might 1963. After it flopped, the group separated and Fannie Lee Cobb became a member of Honey & the Bees (not really the Arctic/Josie group) and re-recorded an improved edition of “Inside Me,” with woman support and a snappier defeat. The Varcels had been Bobby Harman, Charles Griffin, and Charles Robinson as well as the foursome had fulfilled in north Philadelphia.
