Like the lush noises of Mazzy Celebrity which Mortal Coil, the ethereal darkwave duo Trust & Disease shaped the entire year punk broke (1991) and taken care of a solid position of sold synth-beats and gossamer lyrics when confronted with Seattle counterparts Mudhoney, Soundgarden, and Nirvana. Bassist Eric Cooley and vocalist Dara Rosenwasser released the “Jardeau Blue” solitary in 1993, and with friend David Goebel, Trust & Disease created their personal label Ivy Information. They released five albums (Beauty and Bitterness (1993), Lot of money His Rest (1995), Live Tunes: Third Body (1996), Insularia (1998), and Lamentations: A SERIES (1999) under Ivy, but authorized with Projekt in the close from the ’90s to concern Beneath the Trees and shrubs in fall 2000. 2 yrs later on, Cooley and Rosenwasser installed with ambient digital expert Jeff Greinke for the lush, poetic Desire the Crimson Clouds EP.
