Fairytale

This quartet was signed to English Decca’s psychedelic/progressive Deram label in 1967, and were able to grace us with a set of singles, “Guess I USED TO BE Dreaming” b/w “Run And Hide” and “Lovely People” b/w “PAY ATTENTION TO Mary Cry”, in June and September of this year. “Speculate I Was Fantasizing” can be their magnum opus, a trippy little bit of psychedelia that’s pop-ish without having to be wimpy, with an excellent beat plus some odd guitar noises from John Weston, who most likely didn’t should have the obscurity that he attained in music. Their music continues to be reissued on Polygram’s The Psychedelic Picture, among various other multi-artist compilations.
