Fafá de Belém offers recorded 20 albums from 1976 until 2000, a few of that have achieved precious metal and platinum position. With her voluptuous and sensual appears and overly passionate interpretations for designs as diverse as MPB, rock and roll, bolero, Latin passionate, folkloric, lambada, and also the Portuguese fado, she’s built a big group of fans. In 1973, she produced her general public debut in her hometown. Within the next 12 months, she performed displays with Zé Rodrix in Rio de Janeiro RJ along with Sérgio Ricardo in Belém PA and Salvador BA. Using the strike “Memórias” (Leonardo), she marketed 500,000 copies of Atrevida (1986), which also proceeded to go platinum. In 1993, her record Meu Fado proceeded to go platinum in Portugal, among the countries where she is broadly popular. Combined with the stated hits, she’s had achievement with “Coração perform Agreste” (Moacyr Luz/Aldir Blanc), “Aconteceu Você” (Guilherme Arantes), “Dentro de Mim Mora Um Anjo” (Sueli Costa/Cacaso), and “Bicho Homem” (Milton Nascimento/Fernando Brant).
