The Faceless Werewolves certainly are a Tx three-piece whose music grafts the primal groove of classic boogie rock using the thick, buzzy guitar attack of post-punk acts like Sonic Youth and Royal Trux. The Faceless Werewolves 1st came collectively in Denton, TX, in past due 2001, where guitarist Baldomero Valdez was teaching college. Teaming up with guitarist Kelsey Wickliffe and drummer Erica Barton, they known as the brand new group the Faceless Werewolves, with all three people trading away on business lead vocals and producing a tough, scrappy audio that generated a lot of bottom level end regardless of the lack of a bass acoustic guitar.
