Created in the past due 70s, US rock-band Facedancer comprised Jeff Adams (guitar), Mike Milsap (keyboards), Scott McGuinn (bass) and Billy Trainor (drums). After creating themselves on the neighborhood golf club circuit they produced a major effect with 1979’s This Globe, their debut recording for Capitol Information. Buoyed by solid songwriting, specially the solitary, ‘Period Bomb’, this produced an excellent impression through the entire US rock and roll mainstream. 1980’s About Encounter fared considerably worse. A clear attempt to increase their audience prematurily . in their profession, possibly because of record organization pressure, pop hooks meekly changed the boisterous riffs of their debut. Its crucial and commercial failing signalled the finish of the group.
