Home / Biography / Facebreaker

Hailing from Finspång, Sweden, death steel music group Facebreaker was produced in 2001 by vocalist Robert Karlsson (ex-Pan-Thy-Monium and Advantage of Sanity), guitarists Janne Ivarsson and Mika Lagren, bassist Jonas Magnusson, and drummer Mikael Wassholm. A nostalgic throwback to Scandinavia’s 100 % pure death metal from the early-’90s (believe Carnage, Entombed, etc.), the band’s debut record, Bloodred Hell, was documented at famed Dark Lounge Studios in the summertime of 2003, and released by Trend of Achilles Information early the next year.
