Eyesinweasel is among the monikers of past Guided by Voices second fiddle Tobin Sprout. 2000 found several produces from Sprout’s task, like the Seven and Nine solitary, the full-length Wrinkled Thoughts, as well as the Gas Daddy Gas solitary. The following 12 months, Live in the center East was released, documenting an Eyesinweasel overall performance in the Boston golf club. (Each one of the produces have already been through Recordhead.) For Eyesinweasel, Sprout enlisted the solutions of previous Fig. 4 bandmates John Peterson (drums) and Dan Toohey (bass), combined with the Mulchmen’s Nick Kizirnis (acoustic guitar) and Spoon’s Jim Eno (drums). Since departing Led by Voices within the middle-’90s, Sprout in addition has included himself with “appropriate” single recordings, Bevil Internet (with previous GBV member Don Thrasher), and Airport terminal 5 (also with GBV’s Robert Pollard).
