The duo Eye To Eye shaped in 1979 following keyboardist Julian Marshall (formerly of Marshall-Hain) noticed dancer/singer Deborah Berg sing at an improvisational dance performance in NORTH PARK. Weeks afterwards, Berg flew to London, where she and Marshall started writing jointly at his house. They quickly garnered an archive deal with Auto Information in the U.K., launching the one “Am I Regular.” In 1982, Eyes To Eyes released their self-titled debut record on Warner Bros. Information. Their debut, offering the very best 40 strike “Nice Woman” as well as the follow-up launch Shakespeare Stole My Baby, was made by Gary Katz, known mainly for creating Steely Dan’s albums. Like Steely Dan, Attention To Attention performed catchy and smart pop music with stellar musicianship and taut creation. Unfortunately, insufficient record business support do the duo in, after their second launch. Increasing the misfortune, the record label under no circumstances bothered release a Attention To Eye’s two superb albums on compact disk in america.
