The dark shoegaze indie of Evil Eye was created in the sunny climes of Nashville in ’09 2009 when Greg Mabry and Joe Frabotta met within their this past year of college when both signed up for a recording class. Both bonded more than a distributed love from the darker part of pop and started writing songs collectively just weeks before school finished and Frabotta was planned to relocate towards the Bay Region. The duo managed long-distance for just two years, going to each other sometimes for marathon songwriting and documenting classes. In 2011 Mabry produced the jump and became a member of Frabotta in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA to work even more seriously around the task. Choosing the name Bad Eyes, the set released a self-titled EP and two 7″ singles in the area of significantly less than a 12 months. Past due in 2012 the lineup extended, with bassist Aleks Pubs, drummer Brian DaMert, and vocalist Angelica Rockne put into the primary duo, still in charge of composition and documenting. Evil Eye’ 1st full-length was slated for launch sometime in 2013.
