Biography
A melodically charged, dark progressive/power steel unit based from the decibel-rich town of Gothenburg, Sweden, Evergrey was founded in 1995 by guitarist/vocalist Tom S. Englund. The music group issued a set of well-received LPs, The Dark Breakthrough and Solitude, Dominance, Tragedy, in 1998 and 1999, respectively, prior to making their tag with 2001’s lauded alien abduction-themed idea album, Searching for the Truth. Entertainment Day as well as the Inner Circle noticed the band carrying on to explore complicated narrative styles, and in 2005 they released their 1st concert recording/video A Night time to keep in mind. The music group tapped esteemed suppliers Sanken Sandquist and Stefan Glaumann to helm their 6th studio album, Mon Morning hours Apocalypse. 2007’s Torn debuted at number 4 around the Swedish graphs, and the next year noticed Evergrey printer ink a cope with Steamhammer/SPV, which would continue to re-release the band’s whole back catalog, assisting them secure a global group of fans. Their first fresh outing using the label, Glorious Collision, decreased in 2011, accompanied by Hymns for the Broken in 2014 as well as the Surprise Within in 2016, both which had been released via German metallic label AFM.
