Home / Biography / Ethos

Ethos were a mid-70s US rock-band coping in multi-layered pomp and progressive rock and roll. Composed of Will Sharpe (electric guitar, vocals), Brad Stephenson (bass, vocals), Michael Ponczek (keyboards) and Tag Richards (drums), they released their self-titled debut record for Capitol Information in 1976, before touring as starting support for Kiss. Though great live reviews implemented for their intensely syncopated, thematically thick music, their second record, Open Up, did not provide a industrial discovery – despite formulated with more available, radio-friendly materials. With Capitol’s tolerance wearing slim, Ethos had split up by the finish from the decade before another album could possibly be recorded.
