Ethan Rose

Ethan Rose can be an experimental ambient music producer from Portland, OR, who’s influenced by musiquè concrete and whose interests include music bins and player pianos. Associated with the Chicago-based 3rd party label Locust, Rose produced his full-length record debut in 2006 with Ceiling Tracks. His second full-length record on Locust, Rotating Pieces (2007), can be a compilation of three limited-edition produces for the label: Small & Ocean (2003), …the Dot & the Range… (2004), and Performing Tower (2007). Furthermore to his creation focus on Locust, Rose performs reside in concert and showcases his function in memorial installations. His music continues to be featured in movies including Gus Truck Zant’s Paranoid Recreation area (2007).
