Ester Brinkmann

Ester Brinkmann may be the part task of minimal techno/experimental maker Thomas Brinkmann. Implementing his sister’s name for the task, Brinkmann produced his debut as Ester with Totes Rennen around the Imagine imprint in 1998. An extended affair of minimal techno using philosophers’ text messages as vocals, Brinkmann adopted it up with Weiße Nächte a 12 months later; it had been a decidedly even more scaled-down, ambient affair. Brinkmann also utilized this alter ego for his contribution towards the award-winning 20 to 2000 series around the German label Raster-Noton. The task ceased in 2002 having a limited-edition solitary on Imagine. Brinkmann has mentioned in interviews that we now have no current programs to revive the medial side task.
