Formerly referred to as Quinta Estación, a Latin pop outfit formed in 1998, Venezuelan teen pop Estación Central comprised ex-Kumbe Jivan Muktas Barreto Briceño (born in Valera in 1981), Gengis Xavier Napoleón Pabón (born in Caracas in 1978) who started singing in 1994, model and actor Domenico Sottile Ricardo (born in Porlamar, Margarita in 1977), ex-Quinta Estación Alexander Ponte de la Vega (born in 1980) and Giancarlo Pasqualotto Pesquera (born in Caracas in 1978). Estación Central debuted with Ayudame A Olvidar a 11-monitor record comprising Latin pop music and metropolitan ballads.
