Eskimo

Called “the Bay Area’s monster’s of loony tune rock,” Eskimo mixed components of punk, funk, steel, free-style improvised jazz, and their very own twisted mixture of whatever. Eskimo released their debut record, Jack port, on Lonpig Information in 1990. Together with adding equipment of circus music, nursery rhymes, and contorted blues, the band’s sophomore work, The Further Escapades of Der Shrimpkin, got the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA scene by shock in 1995. Carrying on on to their spelunking from the musically unexplored, Eskimo broke some more regular boundaries using their third record, Some Prefer Wedding cake, in 1999.
