Ernesto established itself in NEW YORK like a diverse Latin rock-band driven by electric powered guitars, dual percussion, along with a mixture of Spanish and British vocals. Made up of five music artists with Latino origins — vocalist/guitarist Tito Ernesto Ortiz, business lead guitarist Denny Blake, drummer/percussionist Giovanni Palacios, percussionist/drummer Brendan McGowan, and bassist Pemberton Roach — the music group debuted in 2001 using its self-released debut EP, Bonita, and adopted having a conceptual LP, The Ballad of Gordo Yepez, a yr later.
