A master of both row diatonic accordion, zither and fiddle, Erik Pekkari has remained focused on the original music, gemmeldansmusik, of Sweden. His single recording, Hogtryck, paid homage towards the carrying on impact of Swedish folk musician, Carl Jularbo (1893 – 1966). Relating to Swedish journal, Gotesborgs – Posten, Pekkari is definitely “another good exemplory case of youthful Swedish music artists who, within an exemplary method, spread our history of traditional music.”Because the past due-1990s, Pekkari offers performed inside a trio that he stocks with fiddlers Bengt Lofberg and Pelle Bjornlert.
