Erica Goodman

Erica Goodman is arguably one of the most prominent Canadian harpist of her era, and easily among the very best several from THE UNITED STATES. Her technique is certainly all-encompassing and her interpretive abilities incisive and imaginative. And, obviously, she has frequently appeared in the world’s main concert locations as soloist, chamber participant, and recitalist. Goodman provides produced over 30 recordings pass on over several brands, including Naxos, BIS, CBC, Marquis, and Starting Time. Erica Goodman was created in Toronto, Canada, on January 19, 1948. Her dad was violinist Hyman Goodman. Little Erica began monitoring piano in 1958, and a season afterwards, without abandoning piano, used the harp. In her early years Goodman’s harp instructors included Charles Kleinsteuber, Judy Loman, and Carol Baum. On the Curtis Institute (1967-1969) she examined harp with Marilyn Costello.
