Eric & Magill were formed in 2007 by longtime collaborators and multi-instrumentalists Eric Osterman and Ryan Weber. Both originally hailed from Milwaukee, where they performed collectively in early emo/indie music group Camden before Osterman relocated to Michigan and Weber remained in Milwaukee to create the working-class indie rock and roll troupe Decibully and in addition donate to the Guarantee Band. In 2007, both reconvened through some international marketing communications, Weber composing from a teaching work in Armenia and Osterman still stationed in Michigan.
