Enzo Dara

Enzo Dara is among the main buffo performers of his generation, particularly popular for his Rossini performances, superb vehicles for his comic operating abilities aswell as his musicality. He 1st worked like a journalist before making a decision to explore a performing career, and researched in his indigenous Mantua with Bruno Sutti. His opera debut is at 1960 as Colline in Puccini’s La bohème in the Fano opera home. Over time of military assistance, he produced a feeling in 1967 at his Reggio Emilia debut as Mustafa in Rossini’s L’italiana in Algieri. Another year, he produced his La Scala debut as Don Bartolo in Rossini’s Il barbière di Siviglia, a job that has virtually become his personal. He produced his 1st appearance at Covent Backyard in 1976 as Dandini in Rossini’s La cenerentola within the La Scala touring business.
