Envelopes

Incidentally of France and Sweden, Envelopes feature Henrik (vocals/guitar), Audrey (guitar/vocals), Martin (bass), Filip (drums), and Fredrik (guitar). Henrik, Fredrik, and Martin fulfilled during senior high school while Audrey fulfilled Henrik in university; Filip was befriended at an area gig in Sweden. Each was a lover from the Pixies, Kate Bush, Speaking Mind, Bob Hund, and Operating-system Mutantes. Among semesters and during vacations, the indie rock-band was created in 2002. Their 1st gig, beneath the Nicotines moniker, adopted in Paris in Oct 2002. 2 yrs along with a name modification later on, Envelopes released their debut, the I CAN’T STAND It EP, on Rex within the U.K. Envelopes’ quirky pop audio found its put on the band’s second recording, Demon. Demon, that is Swedish for “demos,” was released within the U.K. on Braille. A home release day was slated for March 2006.
