Tuomas Jäppinen (acoustic guitar/vocals), Arto Huttunen (acoustic guitar), Ville Lapio (bass), and Teemu Hokkanen (drums) began taking part in together within their local Jyväskylä, Finland, in 1995 as Captivity. They transformed their name to Enter My Silence 3 years later on, and after documenting 1999’s Sophia’s Attention EP, Mikko Kotamaki became a member of as full-time vocalist. Boasting a melodic loss of life metal style also known as the Gothenburg audio (a Swedish town which spawned picture market leaders Dark Tranquility and In Flames), the music group released their full-length debut, Remotecontrolled Scythe, in 2001.
