Energy Slime

The lo-fi pop task of Vancouver’s Jay Arner and Jessica Delisle, Energy Slime happened when the few began writing music in the home while going out in the home and watching TV. Quickly created, recorded, and blended, the duo’s music are looser than Arner’s gauzy synth pop but talk about a similar feeling of hazy whimsy. Energy Slime initial surfaced in January 2014 using the “Bustin’ Up” video, that they followed using their formal debut, the 13-minute, ten-track work New Dimensional, that November.
