Two hippies, the Canadian Dolly Holmes and Maik Hirschfeldt from Germany, met in London in 1970. Jointly they visited Berlin to execute within the musical Locks. Emtidi was founded as well as the duo began to play the underground night clubs of the town. Their repertoire contains traditional acoustic folk music. Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser, afterwards owner of labels Ohr and Kosmische Kuriere, noticed them play and provided a record agreement. The options of multi-track documenting allowed the duo to broaden their musical design on Saat. The record is really a unfortunately little-known masterpiece — a distinctive mixture of folk, artwork rock and roll, and psychedelic. Sadly Dolly Holmes shortly left the music group and returned to Canada. Maik Hirschfeldt shifted to a community near Munich and shaped a fresh lineup with Rudi Haunreiter, Georg Karger, and Franz Müller.
