Seeking to revive the delicate and emotive appear of classic emo rings want Mineral and American Football, singer, guitarist, and songwriter Keith Latinen created Empire! Empire! (I HAD BEEN a Lonely Property) in 2006, in the beginning as a single task. Along with guitarist Cathryn Latinen, his wife in support of consistent person in the music group, and an ever revolving solid of drummers and bassists, Latinen offers lovingly re-created the complex and plaintive audio of the middle-’90s. Although Empire! Empire! released countless break up singles and EPs pursuing their inception, their full-length debut, WHAT MUST BE DONE to Move Forwards, didn’t arrive until 2009. A follow-up, YOU MAY Eventually Be Overlooked, premiered in 2014.
