Emma Gibbs Band

Shaped in 1996, the Emma Gibbs Group originally began with drummer Andrew LeVasseur, bass player Jeff Remsburg, and lead guitarist Drew Cannon. All participating in the College or university of NEW YORK, the trio added Brett Buckner on harmonica and Richard Upchurch on tempo electric guitar. Rehearsing at the house of Remsburg’s grandmother, the music group had been also present for most of her tales being a blues vocalist. After touring the college or university circuit, the group released its self-titled debut record in 1997. The group also added mandolin participant Will Straughn that same season. Performing on the Jomeokee Celebration with String Mozzarella cheese Incident along with the 1998 HORDE Celebration with Ben Harper, the Emma Gibbs Music group grew a devoted following for blending country, root base, folk, and bluegrass. In 1999, the music group released Seven Also. In August 2000, LeVassuer was changed by drummer George Wallis and came back to John Keane Studios. In 2001, Out In the united states premiered. The band provides opened for Adam Taylor and Derek Vehicles Band and also have been in comparison to Boy Volt and Strangefolk. The Emma Gibbs Music group in addition has been became a member of on tour by David Blackmon.
