Folk vocalist/songwriter Emma Make was created and primarily raised in Toronto, Canada, where she began formal tone of voice training young and took a season of electric guitar lessons in her early teenagers. After initially proceeding toward a qualification in tone of voice at Dalhousie College or university, she made a decision she didn’t desire to pursue a traditional music profession and instead started writing and performing her own tracks. Forming her very own label, Emmazing Information, she self-released her debut record, Manifesto, in 2003. A offer through the Ontario Arts Council helped her finish and concern her second record, Hit & Operate, in the summertime of 2008, and she toured Canada and performed schedules in the U.S. to market it.
