Emily King

Born in NY in 1986, vocalist/songwriter Emily Ruler grew up encircled by music, seeing that her parents are jazz vocalists Marion Cowings and Kim Kalesti. In 2002, the 16-year-old made a decision to focus full-time on her behalf singing profession; she received her GED, and started perfecting her build in earnest. By 2005 Ruler had gained the interest of Hitman studio room group member Chucky Thompson and was agreed upon by RCA/J Information, who released her debut record, East Side Tale, in 2006. The one “Walk in my own Shoes” appeared the next year.
