Emer Buckley

Irish harpsichordist Emer Buckley attended College or university University, Dublin, where she formulated a pastime in the harpsichord, and she continuing her work in France and Italy. Her educators included John Beckett, Kenneth Gilbert, and Huguette Dreyfus. Like a soloist and chamber musician, she’s performed at many worldwide festivals as well as for radio broadcasts. Since 1994, Buckley offers played harpsichord using the Lachrimae Consort, and she participated in documenting Un Jardin Oscuro using the group. Buckley shows harpsichord and thought bass in the Conservatoire de Rayonnement Régional in Lille, France. She’s documented for Harmonia Mundi, Erato, and Ligia Digital, among additional brands, and with Jochewed Schwarz, she’s released two quantities of François Couperin’s Les Countries on Toccata Classics.
