Among the countless tasks Detroit-area artist Jim Konen done in the first 2000s, his EM task was perhaps his most ambient and moody. His 1st launch as EM, Expidite Music, “expedited” a number of moods during the period of nine tracks, incorporating unique worldbeat-style seems with ambient electronica. He adopted this launch with an identical recording, EM/2, that also integrated even more dancefloor-style grooves, not forgetting the three-song 9/11 trilogy: “DUDA,” “911,” and “Aftermath.”
