Ely Guerra

Biography

Mexican singer/songwriter Ely Guerra debuted locally in 1992 using the release of the self-titled album. Graduating from Washington’s Evergreen Condition University, her Latin choice pop/rock and roll style didn’t achieve good testimonials. However, she transferred to London to create her follow-up record, entitled Pa’ Morirse De Amor and released in 1997, offering her first strike single known as “Angel De Fuego.” Furthermore, her picture close to Julieta Venegas made an appearance in the cover of your time magazine presenting them as the utmost promising performers within the Mexican rock and roll picture. Ely Guerra added to the film soundtrack of Amores Perros and Los Hijos de la Calle before taking part in La Ley’s MTV Unplugged, performing and playing acoustic guitar on “Un Duelo,” documented in Miami on June 28, 2001.
