Biography
Alan Ward had originally been the singer with punk hopefuls Bastard, which also contained in its rates long term Damned guitarist Brian Wayne. After the music group break up Ward assumed the pseudonym of Elton Motello, alternating between Britain and Belgium, where he previously built up organizations touring with Bastard. He produced his debut appearance by the end of 1977 with ‘Aircraft Boy, Aircraft Girl’, 1st in Belgium on Pinball, adopted a month later on by way of a UK launch on Lightning. The monitor achieved international achievement using the re-titled French edition, ‘Ca Aircraft Pour Moi’, by pop punk exponent Plastic material Bertrand. Achievement for Motello’s initial was a lot more limited, though it was released in lots of different countries. Several months later on, ‘Aircraft Boy, Aircraft Lady’ was re-recorded to higher notoriety by Captain Sensible AS WELL AS THE Softies. Towards the finish of 1978 Motello documented his debut recording, Victim OF YOUR TIME, that was released in March 1979 by Attic Information, but just in Canada. He was supported by numerous players including Peter (acoustic guitar), Nobby (drums) and Willie Switch (bass), by using Aircraft Staxx (acoustic guitar), Tony Boast (acoustic guitar) and previous Red Fairies and Pretty Points drummer John ‘ Twink’ Alder. As well as the solitary, the recording included a remake of the tiny Encounters’ ‘Sha La La La Lee’ and another 11 compositions that fluctuated between pop and punk. With the brand new decade arrived two further produces, ‘20th Hundred years Fox’ another album, Pop Artwork.
