Biography

Eliot Lipp was raised in Tacoma, WA, hearing hip-hop artists such as for example RZA and Hieroglyphics before moving to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA in 1998 when he turned 18. There, he was affected from the music of Dan the Automator and Madlib, while also hanging out in Chicago, where he was schooled in digital music. His paths experienced the hands of Scott Herren of Prefuse 73 and Savath + Savalas, producing a launch on Eastern Advancements in November 2004. After shifting to LA, Lipp’s next documenting, Tacoma Mockingbird, which pulls together components of hip-hop, electro, spirit, disco, and funk, premiered on Hefty in springtime 2006.
