Elida y Avante

Elida con Avante quickly evolved into among the truly successful tejano rings. Their 1st two albums — Atrevete, released in 1994, and Algo Entero, released in 1999 — certified for platinum record position and yielded many Best Five singles including “Luna Llena” and “Lagrimas de Amor,” which reached the very best position around the Americana music graphs in 1994. The recipients of Billboard magazine’s Revelacion del Ano Honor, Elida y Avante had been named Rising Band of the Year in the TTMA Market Honours in 1995. A septet, Elida con Avante are focused around vocalist Elida Reyna, who received the TTMA Market Honor as Rising Feminine Vocalist of the entire year in 1995 and 1996 as well as the Pura Vida Honor as Feminine Vocalist of the entire year in 1997 and 1998.
